Is there embroidery or lace? Subtle touches of color here and there? Or maybe you see bold and daring hues. Sparkles or sequins. Perfectly placed jewels.

And what about the style and cut? Are you showing off those dynamite legs? Are there folds and folds of fabric flowing to the floor? Sleeves? Train? Shapely mermaid style? What do you see?

There is true magic in your dreams. Let’s turn them into something real.

Next, if you’re in or around the Colorado Springs area, we’ll meet and go into further detail about your vision. This is your opportunity to show me pictures, patterns, shapes, or colors, or anything else that might capture the essence of your dress. We’ll take your measurements and possibly fit you for a body cast to assist in the perfect construction of your design.

On our second personal visit, we take a fieldtrip into the wonderful world of fabric. Here we get to do our own ooh and ahh-ing and grab samples of everything you’re crazy about! This is where the imaginative adventure begins.

You return home with excited anticipation and I return to my studio to begin putting together your dream board. In around a week, we meet to present the design and make any changes to meet your ultimate satisfaction. Depending on adjustments, the design modification could take anywhere from a few days to up to a week.

When we’ve completed the design to perfection, I purchase the material and begin your masterpiece. You return to the studio for fittings during different phases of construction. Once the process is complete, you only need anticipate your debut!

Out of the area? No problem. We can fulfill the process through phone calls, email, and priority/express mail. Fabric swabs and design ideas can be sent to you. As long as we have precise measurements, your dream dress is still just a phone call away!
